I was snuggled up on the couch with my two precious kitties watching a mindless, yet hilarious, animated program on the TV. It was exactly where I wanted to be. I had no interest at all in getting dolled up and heading out on the town trying to stay lively and alert until midnight. That sounded awful to me. Just awful.
Plus 2012 was a rough year for me. Fraught with unnecessary drama and heartache … a whole lot of stupid, unproductive stress. I wanted the year to be done and gone. Adios!
So a quiet, comfy pajama and furry friends filled evening is just what I needed to slide into 2013, relaxed, content …and covered in cat hair!!
